Hi. I am 9 years old. My name is Mele but you might already know that. We moved here on Halloween. I am so excited!!!

Hello. I am an American secondary maths teacher. I love working with children and cooking. The goal is to have fun while learning. Nothing fancy just a good time in the kitchen making basic recipes.

1st class: 'EVRYTHING EGG'

In this class your kid(s) will learn most of the ways to cook an egg ex. fried, boiled, scrambeled, and omlets. Tell us if you don't/can't eat egg and we'll sort somthing out.

Details

We will meet at our house which is located between Bantry and Glengarriff.

The lessons will be 2.5 hours with outside breaks. We will provide the organic ingredients, recipes and kitchen tools. We will usually avoid dairy and gluten, please let us know if you need to avoid any foods.

Class will run throughout the summer. Thursdays from 12:30-3 p.m. We will have fresh fruit available or you are welcome to bring your own snack, please keep it healthy. If you don't bring food that is OK, we will provide it because it is a misery to cook when hungry. If the weather is good, kids are welcome to play in the garden, however, adult supervision will be focused in the kitchen.

At the end of the summer the students will be invited to prepare a surprise for all the families to enjoy and will be able to take home a full recipe book.

Bring to class a positive attitude and a notebook to take notes. Parents are welcome to stay. Bring swimming costumes if you want to go for a family ocean swim after the lesson is over.

Due to space we want to limit the class size to 5 students. First class is 10 Euros. After the first class, we will offer a bundle option. Please note that at our busiest point there maybe a waiting list. Also because we need to get ingredients beforehand we can not take last minute registrations. But give us a call just in case you are one of the exceptions.
